Privacy Policy

FloBurn is built to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Data stored on your device

Your profile (age, height, weight, goal), daily workout history, weigh-ins, streaks, and plan settings are stored locally on your iPhone. FloBurn does not require an account, and this data is not uploaded to our servers.

Steps and motion

With your permission, FloBurn reads your step count so your walking counts toward your daily burn:

• Apple Health — FloBurn reads step data (for example, from your Apple Watch). FloBurn never writes data to Apple Health, and Health data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
• Motion & Fitness — FloBurn may use your iPhone's pedometer to count steps during the day.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings; the app continues to work without them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous identifier and purchase information, but never your name, email, or health data. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Analytics

FloBurn uses PostHog to understand how the app is used — for example, which screens are visited and which features are used — so we can improve it. Analytics events are tied to a random, anonymous identifier generated on your device, together with basic device information (model, iOS version, language, app version). We never send your name, email, or any health data (steps, weight, workouts) to analytics. See the PostHog privacy policy.

Notifications

Reminders (like your daily plan or trial reminders) are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send remote marketing pushes.

What we don't do

• No selling of personal data.
• No advertising SDKs, and no cross-app tracking.
• No collection of your health data on our servers.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes the data FloBurn stores on your device. Anonymous analytics data can be deleted on request — contact us using the address below. To manage subscription data held by Apple, use your App Store account settings.

Children

FloBurn is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
